The Immortal Revolution: Rise of the Pharaoh’s Sons is a dark urban occult conspiracy thriller set in Houston. When homicide detective Trinidy is called to a junkyard where four people have been tortured and murdered, he discovers that the mutilations match the unsolved murder of his wife five years earlier. Following that connection leads him into the investigation she secretly began before her death.
Her evidence points to the Ancient and Accepted Order of Light, a secret occult organization with members inside government, law enforcement, and the military. The Order stole powerful knowledge from ancient Egypt and used a private laboratory to create H1D2, a man-made virus engineered to remain dormant inside its victims until it is activated. Their plan is to trigger a deadly outbreak, start a war, and use the resulting chaos to expand their control.
At the same time, Amon is serving a life sentence in prison while surviving racial violence, corruption, gangs, and the brutality of prison life. Through meditation and increasingly dangerous occult initiations, he enters a hidden spiritual world where ancient guardians believe he is the man destined to oppose the Order. His preparation forces him to confront his own anger, desire for revenge, identity, and the difference between gaining power and being worthy of using it.
Outside the prison walls, two teenage street hustlers become trapped in the same conspiracy after a robbery puts stolen information from the Order in their hands. Soon they are being hunted by a white-skull-masked militia willing to torture and kill anyone who threatens the organization. Their street-level fight for survival begins colliding with Trinidy’s murder investigation, Amon’s prison journey, the coming virus outbreak, and a prophecy the Order is desperate to prevent.
The story combines murder investigation, Houston street crime, gritty prison survival, secret societies, ancient Egyptian mysteries, occult rituals, prophecy, hidden history, gun battles, betrayal, spiritual transformation, and apocalyptic stakes. It is violent, mystical, morally dark, and unpredictable, with multiple storylines gradually revealing that the murders, the prison sentence, the stolen secrets, and the coming outbreak are all connected to the same fight for control.

"A debut crime novel focuses on a cult that seeks world domination.
An organization called the Ancient and Accepted Order of Light is not a group to be trifled with. This cult stole arcane knowledge from the ancient Egyptians—wisdom that is unlike anything else in the world. The material is so potent it “has the power to transmute the bearers into divine gods.” When in the wrong hands, it can keep most of the human population in either figurative or literal enslavement. In modern-day Houston, four people are murdered in a brutal fashion. A woman named Tina Johnson even has her tongue cut out. For police detective Trinidy, it all reminds him of the murder of his wife, Candice, five years ago. Candice’s killing was what inspired Trinidy to become a homicide detective. When he comes across a video made by Candice, he learns that the Order of Light has plans to release a virus to start a war. Unfortunately, the organization has members at all levels of government. Meanwhile, a man in prison named Amon undergoes esoteric training by utilizing a kind of transcendental meditation. While Amon, a man sentenced to life behind bars, may not appear to be a hero who will save the world, when one can access the soul plane, anything is possible. Seddique’s narrative incorporates the various characters and their different motivations very quickly. Soon after readers start following Trinidy and Amon, there are other cops and criminals and someone called the White Worshipful Master to contend with. Even Candice has an extensive backstory that relates to her father. Yet the horrific nature of the initial murders will keep readers intrigued. Why did Tina, a seemingly innocent food server, get her tongue cut out? Who among the many individuals in the narrative can actually be trusted? There are clearly some crazy developments in store. These twists, along with flying bullets and a runaway virus, will keep readers guessing about how the riveting tale will end.
A wild and gripping occult adventure full of ancient knowledge and modern violence." —Kirkus Reviews
